Company History

In 2007 the Tilbrook brothers started working on a 4 hectare hydroponic Glasshouse project using one of their existing vineyards. This green energy focused project was to use excess grey water from the Clare Councils effluent ponds it was during this process they met Mark Lobban.

Together they asked the question: “if we are creating large volumes of hot water, why can’t we produce our own electricity?” They were told many times that this is not possible. Not satisfied with this answer, they set out to find solutions. This was the fundamental principle behind starting the company LT Green Energy.

In 2009 LT Green Energy became a distributor for a new waste heat to power generation technology. We believe in continued evaluation of technology in this sector as it is rapidly evolving.

In late 2009 LT Green Energy became Australian and Asia Pacific Distributors for Aqua EWP electronic water purification, water softening and desalination technology.

In March 2010 a licence manufacturing agreement was signed with an Australian made unit to start being produced in early June 2010.

This green energy technology is now being sold in over 100 countries, including Australia, USA, UK and New Zealand, and the first units built 8 years ago are still performing as if new.
